Nothing interesting every happened at the diner. Nothing. Ever. The same patrons came in the same days at the same times and ordered the same things every week over and over again. Nineteen-year-old Taemin wouldn’t be working there as a waiter if it wasn’t for Key, his best friend, who also served customers. The most sound that ever filled the place was the soft clinking of plates and silverware and occasional chatter among groups. Other than that, it was a pretty dull and lifeless job.
 
Until sometime two weeks ago, or maybe three, he didn’t really remember, a young (and incredibly charming) businessman started coming on Wednesdays and Fridays. Taemin was the first to serve him, nearly spilling boiling hot coffee onto him because he was busy staring at the man’s face rather than his cup. Thankfully Key grabbed Taemin’s wrist just in time, sparing him the lifetime of embarrassment he’d surely feel afterwards.
